Neale Ferguson was born in South Africa. He is the Executive Producer and owner of Notorious, a full service film production company based in Los Angeles, California. After completing his military service in northern Namibia, he joined his father in business and shortly thereafter moved to London to work at a Lloyds broking syndicate. He wore dark suites, striped shirts and bought a pair of black Scottish made Saxone brogues with metal capped heels which echoed through the city streets. He learned about business and played tennis at Wimbledon. Returning to South Africa, he read English and Communications at Rhodes University, thereafter spending a few years at the local broadcast corporation producing film adaptations of dramas by Tom Stoppard and William Shakespeare. The actors, directors and producers that collaborate to entertain us inspired him and he opened his first film production company in 1989. In 2000 he moved to Los Angeles to further his career in the visual arts. Notorious embodies Neale's philosophy of keeping things simple and sophisticated. The company is affiliated with like minded people around the world and from time to time he still wears those black Saxone brogues he bought in London.
